From Radical Grace, p. 68, by Richard Rohr:
"Read the praise prayers of St. Francis from beginning to end. All St. Francis needs to do is praise God. That takes care of everything else. Because he's letting God be God. He praises God for this, he praises God for that. Every situation, even though immediately it might look unhappy or difficult or absurd or impossible, he praises God. That becomes the transparency through which God is able to act through us and in us, when we trust God that much, when we believe that God is always loving us.I wish I'd read this last night.
"There is no time, no place, no situation in which God is not loving you. There is no way God is not loving you. We have to be the continual "yes" for the love to come through. And then our lives become no more coincidence, but continuous providence!"
Thank God it was waiting for me today.

I love you, too. Hope your day is all right.
Trying hard to believe that and sometimes I do. Other times, not sure at all. Can't base a big truth like that on my feelings, though, so just try to take Him at His word. Glad you are able to grasp it and say it to all of us who need to hear it.
This is beautiful!!!!
Love the thought; love the photo, too. And it's okay that you're not perfect yet... we love you anyway!
Sometimes I post what I need most to hear...
I read this twice. I think I need to read it a few more times. Not that I don't believe it. Just that there are times I find hard to grasp.
St. Francis of Assisi is my favorite saint by the way. Is that the saint being referred to here?
Yes, it's St. Francis of Assisi, KBL. Fr. Rohr is a Franciscan monk who lives & works in Albequerque, NM and travels all over the world. I've heard him speak 2x, and his books have changed my life.
I love it when God has something special for you/me to read just at the right time! : ) So beautiful!
