Yes, We Do Have Fall Color Here

Yes, we do...it's predominantly green, yellow-greeen and yellow, with a bit of rust and red thrown in. Most of the trees in our area aren't very yellow yet, but they are starting to turn.
The windstorms of the past few days have thrown some lovely samples to the ground, so I picked them up today, and arranged them on our picnic table's cover.

I like the contrast with the wood of the deck. I hope you enjoy autumn in your area, too.

I too have been inspired by the change in color that surrounds us.

today we went to the park and gathered several leaves. We got there just before the lawn got mowed...whew.
:)

A perfect example of how open you still are to the beauty around you. I love the colors and the arrangement. I have been catching fall colors around here as well. Moving plants into their new sun room this weekend. xoxo.

So beautiful. I love this Karen.
Thank you for sharing.
Perhaps I should pick up some of our fallen palm fronds? They are all green.
We go from dark/bright green to light green or brown.
I miss the red/orange/yellow phase.
take care.

Your arrangements are striking! I've always given yellow-green and yellow (and certainly the deep green) scant attention, thinking of them as the prologue, the introduction. The opening band, if you will. Top billing has always gone to the more dazzling oranges, reds and browns. But this made me look at them a bit differently -- they're quite gorgeous in their own right.
