The book is coming together, slowly but surely. This week, I submitted changes and edits to the physical proof, and there may be one more adjustment to come after that. Each round of edits/changes takes at least a week for the createspace team to incorporate into the manuscript. Getting a digital proof (which I then approve or revise) comes after the changes are incorporated. After that, I will wait for the final physical proof to arrive, review it, and once I approve, the book will be available online at my
createspace e-Store. I'm excited to have my very own digital storefront!
You are cordially invited to
visit my createspace storefront for
"Because of Katie."
As soon as the book is completed, you will be able to order it from this site. It will also be available on
www.amazon.com, both as a paperback and in Kindle format, as well as in your own local bookstores. It's very exciting to know that anyone, anywhere will be able to order it in either format.
The way to visit my e-Store is by clicking on this link:
which will take you to this,
and to information about when it will be available for order (unfortunately, it's not possible to pre-order; I wish it were). I don't have an exact date, but with the latest edits, it looks as if it will be available for purchase around Valentine's Day, or shortly before. That's not too long to wait, after working on it since March!

Oh my gosh, I can't wait!!!!!
I, too, wish I could pre-order. I'll just have to be patient, I guess. :)
Second what ChiTownGirl said. Why, oh why, can't we pre-order? Maybe a little donation toward the Endowment could get an authographed copy of the book? just saying :)
I know I have read it now twice and I keep on finding something new to awaken in me and believe me dear, that something is always positive. As someone living with cancer I can tell you that your story is comforting and soothing in the middle of all the tears as a hug from a good friend.
I send you many today.
It's so exciting. I can't wait to order it either. And I'd love to tell my local bookstore about it -- how do they order?
One more thing: you should make a widget or button so that we bloggers can post it on our sidebars!
Allegra, I will gladly sign a copy for you!
Elizabeth, your local bookstore should be able to order it from a distributor, as they do with other books. If they have any difficulty finding it after it's on sale, please let me know and I will look into it. I was going to put a button up on my blog's sidebar after the book is available for purchase, but I should figure it out now - not much longer to wait! I would LOVE it if my blogging friends would put a button up - thank you for thinking of it!
Congratulations Karen! That is so exciting.
I can't wait to click "purchase".
Much love,
Carin
I am so excited for you....all your hard work coming to fruition! And YOU HAVE A STORE. Love it....love it!
