Who's Huckleberry?

This weekend, David and Zoe went for a boat ride to Blake Island with another family and their French student. After Gregg and I took them downtown to the marina to board the boat, we took a walk along the Poulsbo waterfront. At a house on Lemolo Point, we saw this sign:

We saw no evidence of Huckleberry, and have no clues as to whether it's a dog, a bear, a raccoon, otter, person or a cat.

I'm guessing it's a dog.

We didn't leave any food.

The sign made me laugh,

though I'm really sorry for Huckleberry's medical issues, and hope he/she is recovering nicely. Acute pancreatitis sounds awful!
