Friday Morning Sunrise

This morning, around 6:30, the horizon began to turn pink. The salt water was a perfect reflector for the colors: a pale blue sky, pink horizon, smoky purple treeline and black-silhouetted madrona trees. I went out on the deck in my bathrobe and took a photo of it.
A few minutes later, it had changed to this, so I went back out to capture it:
Can you see the difference?

It was so calm and beautiful that I wanted to share it with you.
I hope you have a great weekend!

I can't imagine how lovely it must be to have that view from the deck.
Lucky you.

And I thought my magnolia and pines were beautiful! WOW!
I love Sky Blue and Black too. If you're a ballad-lover, you most likely will appreciate all the selections on the Late For the Sky album.
Thank you for the kind words yesterday Karen. Today was a better one!

I can not think of a better way to start your day Karen....I adore a pink sky. And an orange sky. And a purple sky.
Ok, I just love colorful skies!!!
Thank you for sharing your view with us.

I cherish that you think enough of us to make sure you capture this holy scene, and then go to the trouble of uploading and sharing it with us. It's simplicity is stunning. Thank you, Karen.
