Thanks, Latte (or, Why I Don't Plant Vegetables)

Why is it that when THIS GUY
sees THIS beautiful, lavender-filled flowerbed
what he really sees is this?
Can you tell I've been gardening today?

Good Lord! I HOPE it's Latte, and not some random animal that visits your garden!!

My parents leave a plastic bottle half-full of water in the flowerbed and for some reason it seems to keep the cats away from it! No idea why, or whether it really works but worth a try! As they'd say in Mog, "bother that cat"...

When a cat is as beautiful as Latte nothing short of a flower bed would do. He thinks he is contributing to the fertilizing of the grounds, helping make the flowers grow and so on. That you and I know differently is not important to cats. Cats often think that we humans are difficult to understand. Why wouldn't you be grateful for his "help"?

You know the old saying about "Help make America beautiful"? I think he really is trying to help.

(Latte, you owe me big for this)

Ha ha ha! My mom has been feeding two feral cats for seven years. They live in the backyard. When their time on this earth is over, I don't want to be the one to clean under the deck.
