That's wonderful, Karen. Will afghans be accepted or do they have to be real quilts? Every so often, I get on a knitting kick. Is there a particular size that's required? Are the details on one of the sites?

Dear Mich,

Knitted and crocheted blankets are welcome! Any size from baby blankets to teen-size would be wonderful.
I have listed some free pattern links on www.katiescomfortersguild.blogspot.com, and BernatCares has some, too. Please leave another comment if you have more questions, and thanks for your interest!

That's a beautiful think, Karen. And I received my guild membership card in the mail today! I can not sew but I can knit and wonder whether I might work on a blanket for the Guild. I am going to check out the info you gave here.

You're welcome, Mich.

Elizabeth, thank you for joining! Would you like me to send you a Jo-Ann Stores 10% discount card, now that you have your membership card? If so, please email your address to me, and I will send it.

People just love to be a part of something good--and I think you are gathering so many good people and businesses to your gentle cause. This has got to be very exciting for you. What a beautiful legacy Katie leaves, because of you.
Love and hugs and prosperity to Katie's Guild and all the lives she touches.
