I went for a walk today, and saw the sun coming through the trees, highlighting the contrast between the fresh blossoms of youth and the sturdiness of maturity:

What a glorious capture and I love the blending of new and old as well. LOVE your sea wreath.
I know just how you feel. Spring is teasing us here. One day of sunshine, then a week of gray. I am sooo ready for a change of season. And the wreath is such a beautiful reminder of the sea and summer...another longing of mine in the gray of a protracted winter. Hope springs!
