Worth Sharing

"Emotional healing is almost always a process. It takes time. There is a very important reason for this. Our heavenly Father is not only wanting to free us from the pain of past wounds, he is also desirous of bringing us into maturity, both spiritually and emotionally. That takes time, because we need time to learn to make the right choices. He loves us enough to take the months and years necessary to not only heal our wounds, but also build our character. Without growth of character we will get wounded again."  - Floyd McClung

After downed internet, I caught up today. Love the wisdom of the quote. Ahh, it's hard work getting character.

Your desert trip looked CALI-fab! Being a California Girl all my life till we moved to Maui, I do miss the glammy vibe. It's such a different world from HI, and even more so from VA. This country has a lot of neighborhood variety, doesn't it! Anyway, your dad looks fabulous at 85. A very handsome man indeed. My dad is just about 84and I am heading to CA soon to see him and celebrate. I love my daddy. He's a good one, too.
Much love, Karen
