St. Baldrick's and Stud Muffin

My bloggy buddy, ChiTown Girl has posted about the upcoming St. Baldrick's event, in which her son (who is also known as "Stud Muffin") annually shaves his head to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. Stud has generously chosen to honor Katie for the past years, and he is doing it again.

I can't quite capture in words what it means for a good-looking high school man to shave his plentiful, gorgeous hair for such a charity. But if a picture is worth a thousand words, go to ChiTown's blog by following the link above, and see the effect of Stud's before and after photos. Then I don't need to say more, except: if you want to help Stud to reach his fundraising goal (and keep your own hair on your head), you can do that through ChiTown's blog, or click HERE.

Thank you, Stud Muffin and ChiTown Girl!

Karen, thank you so much for helping us spread the word. Stud is always so happy to honor Katie at this event.

What an incredible guy -- I remember sponsoring him LAST year, and it's just so amazing and beautiful that he's doing it again.

What would we all do if there weren't people in this world like him, Stud, AND his Mom of course!
Thanks for your comment on my post yesterday Karen, very thoughtful.
