Trying wordpress

I just spent hours trying to create a blog in wordpress, and I am not satisfied with it. wordpress is counter-intuitive, for me (maybe it's because I learned in blogger). In any case, I needed to do a little design experimentation for Katie's Comforters Guild. The blog's address is http://www.karengberger.wordpress.com/ , but I anticipate it will be taken down soon...by me. RATS! or as Katie liked to say, *SNAP!*

I think it looks good! But it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Not that we are old dogs or anything...

I think it looks good. But I know what you mean. Blogger has a certain look -- and Wordpress is much sparer. I'm not sure which I prefer but I do know that I just cannot contemplate figuring a new one out!

Thanks for sharing. I've thought about switching to wordpress as I like that you can have passwords for certain posts and leave others open for all to see. I've reciently changed my blogger posting to an upgraded version that makes posting photos a little easier, but am thinking of switching back as this "upgraded" version doesn't have spellcheck.

Good luck!

I think it looks good too. But I know wordpress is like another world. Have you thought about typepad? I know some girls like that one too. : )

I had exactly the same problems when I tried doing a blog in wordpress. It's probably all what we're used to, but there were things I wanted to do that wordpress just didn't allow. Haven't tried typepad, though...
