Once again you have written something that just makes me exclaim, "yes, that is it. That is how to explain grief and grieving and loss." Your ability to articulate your sorrow is very moving and even inspiring.
But I am sorry that this ability was engendered (or enhanced) by the loss of your precious Katie. A woefully unfair and cruel tradeoff indeed.
