Happy Birthday, My Love

It's October first, and that means it's

Gregg's
birthday!
In case you are wondering, that's Gregg in the second row, standing, second from the left, in the bright blue shirt (in Mr. Morris' class). Yes, that's Heidi Renee Dudley's father (Paul Dudley's father-in-law), teaching Gregg in grade school! It's a small world.

On October 1, 1955, Gregg arrived here (sometime between dinnertime and dessert), the fourth of four kids, the second boy, and one of the youngest of MANY Kvinsland grandchildren.

Thank you, Elaine and Ed, for bringing this boy into the world, and raising him to be a wonderful man.

Thank you God, for bringing him into my life. A wonderful friend, partner, love, husband, father, worker, person. A gift.

Happy Birthday, Honey! I love you more now than ever.

  1. Happy Birthday Gregg. Katie looks just like him.

Sweet Karen, on my post today 'no reason' I can be all over the map on that. But I hate when some people think there is a reason for everything. Like Jacquie and Gilbert, let alone Sheldon, must have done something that God would strike them down.

    Bastards.

    Love Renee xoxo

  3. When I opened your blog and saw that darling little boy face, I knew instantly it was your son, who looks just like his sister. Then I read down and realized it was your hubby, and had a chuckle. Wow, those genes are strong. And I thought they looked just like you! Till now! You are blessed to have that man to travel this road along with you. Happy Bday wishes from me.

  11. I thought the same thing - Katie sure favors Gregg ~ but I can see you in her, too! Hoping he had a good birthday - the skiing equipment will be fun when the snow starts to fly! I brought my beautiful geraniums in tonight because it is supposed to freeze - they were gorgeous all summer and still have buds yet to bloom! I have such a black thumb, I am just thrilled they still look so good! Hugs, L
