Her inner radiance (and, it seems, gentleness too) really shines forth in that last picture of her with Katie. It must have been a poignant thing for her to care for Katie so soon after losing her own child. But I bet Katie brought her much joy!

Ack -- being an English-major person, I can identify with how grim it is to lose a word battle! Never fear, the next round David WILL fall to your brilliance! Victory will be yours!

Also -- I'm a copyeditor by profession. I highly doubt you need this, as your writing is very tight (meaning error-free and well expressed), but if you'd like me to look over and proofread/edit your piece on Katie, I'd be more than happy to do so.

JenniferAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6994832747844483996.post-66560479134496717562009-03-23T17:52:00.000-07:002009-03-23T17:52:00.000-07:00Thank you for telling us about Tyler and his paren...Thank you for telling us about Tyler and his parents. Isn't it interesting how the tapestry of life weaves us all together.....? I often think of that.

Shortly before Jordan was born at 24 weeks, my Mom was telling me about a woman she met (while working at the Red Cross) who had just giving birth to a premie at 24 weeks... and I remember thinking "Wow... I just can't imagine...." And then, just a short few weeks later, I was on the phone with that mother, getting some much needed encouragement, etc.

We are all connected.HWHLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07294913024458099382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6994832747844483996.post-90866758483445275632009-03-23T15:19:00.000-07:002009-03-23T15:19:00.000-07:00So much going on Karen...that camp sounds fantasti...So much going on Karen...that camp sounds fantastic and I loved the pictures of the kids.
